Text needs to be aligned by number of characters, but I want to hit the sweet spot where long and short characters don't make too much of a noticeable difference in length due to good positioning
This interface could use a background and more visual elements to make it less boring/stale to look at

Backgrounds aren't a necessary part in something like a mind map and could make existing text/points harder to see.
