We’re happy you like the app. Before we release new version, we do testing on real HW with 10 different BMS. We can’t reproduce any connection / readout issues with the current release. There are also no other users complaining about any issues. Since one year or even longer there was no change in the App how it is communicating / reading data with the HW. We suspect it is an issue with your HW.
From your description it sounds like the distance to your BMS is to long OR you have some kind references on the BR signal. Try to get closer to the BT Dongle. Try another BMS. Try another iOS device. This behaviour happens also if the GND is not connected properly to BMS (only sense wires). can it be that wiring is not ok? check this.
To support you we will also need to know:
- your current app version
- the app version you used before (for source code diff)
- which iOS version are you using? are you using iOS beta or RC versions? (Very often some functionalities are broken).

actually a super developed app with! Until yesterday I was also perfectly satisfied with it. Only yesterday I did the update of the app in the app store. Since then, unfortunately, problems long loading until data appear on the main screen!
At the moment very important also the data readout of the bms!
The loads,...sometimes only a field with 1 info is loaded and sometimes 4-5 fields ect until dan the message comes no connection to the bms possible, then it is loaded further... until I abort at some point because nothing is loaded! Is it possible to undo the update on the phone in the store! I just have a very important project and the app is actually a very important and especially super reliable support!
To change different charge / discharge voltages and balance ect! Unfortunately since yesterday as described above!
