"Ctrl" and "Escape" on-screen keys are quite hard to hit on smaller screens #373

I have a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro, with no dpad or trackball.

I gladly welcomed the addition of the on-screen buttons for Ctrl and Esc, but 
it would be useful if the actual button area is larger than the covered area. 
The X10 mini pro's screen is quite small, so as a result the buttons end up 
being quite hard to catch.

I have attached a mock up of what I'd like to see (and some other suggestions). 
In this case, the grey bar around the buttons represents this larger area of 
"touchable" screen... albeit perhaps without being grey :)
