Local connection disconnected when network down #388

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open local.
2. Turn off wifi or switch to airplane mode
3. "Host has disconnected. Close session"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Local stays connected.

What version of the product are you using (you can see this by using Menu
-> About in the Host List)?

v1.7.1 2010.10.08

What type of system are you trying to connect to?

Local

If you are able to connect, what is the output of "echo $TERM", "uname -a",
and any other relevant information on the host?

Both no output.

Please provide any additional information below.

Is there an expected date on when this patch will be reviewed?  This is a major 
issue for those of us with chrooted envs.
