alabastron issues

Some alabastrons have "bases". Are these a part of the pot or are they just something added in order to make them stand upright? If the latter, we need to remove them.

pot_number9008051 0_url img_3_stand Many Corinthian alabastrons are quite white against a whitish background and may need to be photoshopped.

Also, the placement of the little handle near the mouth is variable and I think will prove hard to remove automatically.

Dear Armand, I didn't even notice that! I assumed it would just part of the pot. Woops! How many do you think there are like this? Would it be too difficult to just put a line through these on photoshop?

As for the handle, I wouldn't worry about it too much. For pots with one handle, I tend to extract the contour of the side that doesn't have the handle and will then reflect it if necessary (for consistency, the contour datasets should all be of right-side contours).

Not many --- I am pretty sure it's a shadow but will ask Emilio to confirm. If so, I'll review and edit in photoshop.

Good news on the handle --- I have actually spent a lot of time photoshopping off crappy little handles.
