siaga level - katulampa plot #87

Open fadmastuti opened 8 years ago

fadmastuti commented 8 years ago

can we edit the location of siaga level from BMKG API that we got from BPBD? the location is not correct (5-6 km away) from bendungan katulampa. I want to re-plot it but cannot find the data on petajakarta.org

the map is showing this:

the bendungan katulampa should be here:

Thanks for spotting this. The locations of the flood gauges come direct from BPBD so the best course of action is to get them to fix it up. Otherwise we'd need to use the other metadata they supply about the siaga levels to cross-reference the actual location that we then use to place these on the map correctly.

thanks @matthewberryman . I'm working on it. I will check the rest gouges location then we will get BPBD to fix it.

@mahardika please also check with Robert Ogie (rogie@uow.edu.au) to compare locations of Floodgates in our existing infrastructure data with that supplied through the BPBD floodgauge API.

@talltom I still see some differences between our data and BPBD's floodgates data. I confirmed it to BPBD and they said that they have not finished yet to re-plotting the floodgates.

Also, I see some differences (1-3 km) between our data from petajakarta.org API that I have downloaded and the surveyed data that we have collected using GPS. Does the petajakarta.org floodgates data been updated already?

@mahardika: 1) BPBD Data - OK, when BPBD have finished updates can you check our map to verify that we've reflected their changes 2) Floodgauge locations in PetaJakarta.org infrastructure data - yes Robert already adjusted some of these. He his out of office at the moment, but we'll need to ask for the details of his changes when he is back.

thanks :+1:
