This one may seem obvious to experienced embedded devs, but in the spirit of optimism, hopefully we'll someday have more and more newcomers, and this one might save someone a lot of pain down the road.
(In other words, I completely forgot this myself and spent 3 weeks off and on trying to figure out why very simple code wasn't doing what it should be doing :smiley: ).
