Can't seem to get to integrate it with HA #1281

Configuration warnings Integration error: smartir - Integration 'smartir' not found. Platform error 'climate' from integration 'smartir' - Integration 'smartir' not found.

I get this error no matter what. I tried so far rebooting with and without the config file. I tried cloning it in homeassistant/custom_components/smartir/SmartIR I tried cloning it in homeassistant/custom_components/smartir/

HA 2024.7.1

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

you need to only clone the files contained inside the custom_component folder to your local custom_components folder. After that, restart HA and it should work
