My Toshiba heat pump has a 8°C operation mode. It is intended for keeping rooms above freezing temperature.
I use the heat pump in a small cabin, to keep the climate above freezing in the winter. AFAIK this feature is pretty common in
Toshiba heat pumps.
None of the Toshiba files has a "8 degrees" mode. Home Assistant GUI doesn't seem to have an icon for it either.
Why bother? because the normal heating system does not go lower than 17 degrees celsius.
Where do I start? I need a pointer to the right files and what to do. I'll figure out the rest.
I have recorded the command with a Broadlink RA4 mini. I want to share it and hopefully even get an appropriate icon in Home Assistant.
