Describe the request

I was directed here because I have been trying to find a way to have my GE Treviso RF Ceiling Fans work with Home Assistant. The fans each have a remote with 4 separate buttons for the fan, Off, Low, Medium, High, & a single button for the Light that a Quick Press turns it On/Off & a Hold dims it until released & once it reaches the lowest or highest the next time it is held reverses the process. The fan I was able to do, though the instructions were not very complete, but the light is another thing.

I'm curious if there is a reason that there is no IR/RF Light options. I have been attempting to make one for the light, with a dimmer that any adjustment is treated as a press of the 25% Dim command I have registered on my Broadlink RM Pro+ but everything I have found has either not been capable or seems to be capable but have such poor instructions that the only way to can follow them is if you don't need them.

Currently I use a template light that runs a script which runs a remote.send_command to turn the light on or off, but have not been able to get the dimmer to work. This sounds like something perfect for this integration, but alas, is not an option

I have also a Fan which has a Light in it, and a option for including a light (on / of or dimmable steps, would be great)
