Smart Card Not Working [CAC?] #95

I got my CAC Reader to work and it displayed my name instead of the "CAC" number n keychain. It worked for like an hour and now it's not working. Please help. I tried to uninstall and reinstall sw.

The Tokend modules that are installed do not retain any card specific data, so there is no need to uninstall / re-install. We need more information about your Card Type, OS Version, etc. Until then you might try expunging the cache directory for the smart cards used on your machine and try again.

Perform the following to clear the cached directory:

rm -R /var/db/TokenCache/tokens/.

Report back your results after you clear the above and try your card again.

Please report back your results after you clear the above and try your card again. Also, please provide complete system information (versions, Cards, Card profile, etc) when reporting a problem.

Tried to perform action recommended to clear cache from old certificate and then reinsert key to rebuild cache. SmartKey? is recognized, but shows up empty. It can be unlocked in keychain but no certificates are visible under the CAC entry. Checked for certificates on key and they are available in Windows and fully functional. Also did run "pcsctest" and it passes successful. Even with old CAC drivers cache is not updates and Smartcard shows empty in Keychain. Seems that in Mountain Lion has changed the behaviour and no longer automatically updates the cache directory with the certificates. When copying old cache files back, the old certificates show up in the Keychain.

Smartcard Token used: Actividentity USB Token System: Mac Book Air with Mountain Lion 10.8.2 Drivers used: Smart Card Services Update v2.0.b2-MtLion?
