Discussion about ticket tool. Need to find a new tool and figure out how to use it now and going forward. Action Item Assess ticket tool and what uses we have. @ttaloute @SirAh0 Previously mentioned in #191

Discussion about Bounty Board/team as a way to do Cordinape and team feedback. For the "internal" group. Bounty is for contributor level. There is a limited budget. This would be easy to initially set up. Create a "pod" and everyone has give tokens. Teammates receive a share of money pool that has a pre-set budget. Can run on a monthly or bi-weekly basis. DAOs us this quarterly, but less likely to forget. Pay gas for set up and dispersement. Set up a minimum salary, then Coordinape, then can claim bounties.

What are the opening quests and the story around those quests. What's a good bare bones quest. A channel that launches a question from Discord. How do we get that from Forum to all of what we have. Creating quests that unlock sections of the org, open access to opportunities, reputation, recognition. Badges/NFTs maybe For example, a quest might make a person aware there are bounties, but until after the quest you are able to see the open bounty channel. Let's also still make sure that we are creating quests that are best for the user not for us and also get us helping people make connections with humans. @saulthorin knows a variety of vendors that provide reputation/web3 opportunities. These updates might be easy to do via a GitHub issues instead of a meeting. I will be in the meeting more like an "Office Hours" approach if people want to discuss specific onboarding questions they have going on.

• New ticketing tool is making progress and could be the starting spot of quests
• Prototype of Mercle could be done sooner than anticipated. Need to make sure that ticket tools is non-redundant. Tickets can also be used as a place to put and manage bounties. Make sure to wrap bounties into quests. Mercle does form filling and keeps us from having to onboard via Discord. 101coursebuilder as a quest hosting solution.
• Potential "paths" of the future that helps us right now. Path toward moderation. Path towards community "citizenship"
• Immediate need Action Item Create the content that does the expectations and how do we present that material/create that material. Short URL for onboarding and drives people to SCRF.io. Web-based funnel is a little more stable and we can add it everywhere. Additionally, need to have some documentation that supports Mercle content so it matches SCRF assets/ideas.

• Should we map out sobol. It's a public dashboard for org charts. Action Item for @zubepaul
• Onboarding bootcamp is focusing on the writers-cohort. Really focus on the mission/vision of SCRF.
• Banner on Forum needs to be what we want to do onboarding all overall, not just the tool of discord. Increase our onboarding sophistication. READme, forum banner, SCRF.io

Ticket Tool Update

• New ticketing tool update. Bounties still make sense to do via GitHub. Use the ticket tool so that membership matters. Need to build the technical parts of bounties and then we can build out to other service. Make sure that @SirAh0 gets connected with @isss111 and @Yesh-2691 about bounty tool capabilities.
• Quests and bounties are somewhat synonymous (or bounties as part of quests). Go to Discord, exposes what is available, and then you click on a button and that initiates response from the bot, potentially collect user information.
• Action Item Get Discord test server up to date and then we can experiment with this tool there.
• Action Item Remove the current ticket tool.
• Potentially combine the ticketing tool/question area. New ticketing default information could be opportunities and information. Potentially opportunities and questions as a title.

Chat Discussion

• Using announcement more for helping onboarding and #153 content. Still use community, but give life to channels. Mercle Feedback

• 196 has some feedback

• How can we make skippable content that produces too much of a gate for people
• Vendor lock concerns
• End of the form should take you to a place
• Overall, we have the goals of letting people know about SCRF, connect them to tools, and get them ready for quests.

Initial Quests Overall goal is to give people something to today that unlocks. Think about how we can use some quests to do some repeated elements. Description is going to have to be incredibly important. We also need to think about validation. As reward becomes more lucrative, the more we need to include human verification. Action item Create a quest framework

• Community quest: How to be part of SCRF and what mission and vision and stuff are. Needs a vanity award or role?
• SourceCred quest: fully sign up for and be part of the guild

• Mercle update: Vendor/implementation evaluation happening with @SirAh0 and @saulthorin for Mercle. That should be happening week of October 25. Want to make sure to use staging to see how easy it is to take control and make our own changes.
• Trial of 101.xyz needs to have an official SCRF account and likely a wallet. And then we can make some things off of this.

Funnels We have historically used Discord as a way to do our onboarding because it has had the most attention for onboarding purposes and gives us the most communication sophistication. Onboarding does need to take place elsewhere. Right now, Discord is our only path. We need to develop quests that develop and connect to all of the places all at once.

• Then forum From the community side, This Week in SCRF might not translate that well between platforms, maybe need to make that unique for each space.

Automation Discussion Make sure not to make such a high level of burden does not get passed on to the newest/freshest people to our community. We want to make sure that it is easy to do initial quests/bounties and then also encourages discussion and conversation. There are some solutions for current automation needs. Figuring out access and ready for testing/beta time. Deliverable by next week: basic idea of citizenship and user verification

Paul is doing one onboarding and we need to make sure that the second one shows up in our recurring calendar.

Renee is working on the post for the MVP to the citizenship quest. Action Items Suggestions on content or Discord permissions. Also working on the implementation of the Mercle onboarding tool. The initial design is signed-off and now it is going to connect to the test server. We are waiting on the test-server. That will also need a post Action Item Both posts about those are going up this week (Week of Oct. 31).

Angel is working on the routine tasks of welcoming and bootcamp. So we need to find out if new-user and left-server is something that can just be tracked by Discord analytics. @SirAh0 could answer. Also should bring this to the analytics guild A gap in onboarding was identified in that information about guilds/onboarding material is still thin and not easy to get ahold of. We need to revisit the onboarding "welcome packet" and get that to Disco Action item Bring up with the Chat guild the idea of guild channels. There are potentially some bots that can do even more of this that potentially could be explored in the future. Apache Superset is the tool discussed.

Health pulse survey We spend some time talking about what are some additional questions to add. Produced a few that were around community and value addition. Mercle SCRF.io is getting a new section that has an onboarding section. We will be discussing Mercle in the PPP. So we will be showcasing this out to the PPP call. Getting feedback. More impactful will be having the onboarding section on the website, of which Mercle is part of that. We want to make sure that we give our internal team an opportunity to struggle. We will want to get feedback. ** Onboarding bootcamp on Thursday might need to be moved.
