About post for the "Postmortem" subcategory. https://www.smartcontractresearch.org/t/about-the-audits-category/50

lpassos commented 3 years ago

Suggestion:

Lessons learnt from hacked projects.

lpassos commented 3 years ago

@jamesmcgirk and @ghettodev Please review suggested one-liner.

ghettodev commented 3 years ago

I like it. Maybe 'Lessons learned' gives us some more scope? not every emergency is from a hack...

lpassos commented 3 years ago

@ghettodev Ok, how about:

Lessons learnt when addressing post-deployment issues, such as being hacked.

jamesmcgirk commented 3 years ago

Lessons learned is nice. I'm also partial to "autopsy" - I kind of like the 'postmortem' theme, gives us a little edge

lpassos commented 3 years ago

@jamesmcgirk How about:

Lessons learnt and autopsies for post-deployment issues (e.g, hacks, undercollaterization, etc)

jamesmcgirk commented 3 years ago

@lpassos I'd go with 'lessons learned' (more common usage) and am obviously partial to 'autopsies' - I'll move this into Editorial review unless @ghettodev objects

ghettodev commented 3 years ago

I've made a bit of a judgment call on the working: "Lessons learned from hacked or exploited projects."

We are tabling the discussion about whether we actually need these categories now or later.
