The content pipeline has been giving summary authors/research the flexibility to the focus of the summary, yet it comes at a high price of increased review time as expectations could be widely varied from person to person.
Inconsistency of format and style through summaries is also undesirable for the SCRF forum for finding information or establishing a brand as a whole, as it would be difficult to locate key info or make sense of summaries.
The style and content guide is our way of establishing a standard for research summaries that comes through the pipeline. So far it has been playing an important role in communicating expectations to dozens of summary authors/researchers.
We plan to periodically review and renew the guide based on experiences. This will be going through 6-12 months until we have confidence in its maturity, and eventually it will be updated to our official Github docs page or other spaces.
