Deuterons are the only ones that can be produced via the fictitious deuteron resonance, that you probably uncommented in the the decay modes.txt file. This is the only process that works via the geometric collision criterion and has been introduced in https://inspirehep.net/literature/1693367. To produce other light nuclei, you will need to enable the stochastic collision criterion and the respective processes as discussed in the recent pre-print https://inspirehep.net/literature/2825797.
Hi,
I noticed in the “particles.txt” file that SMASH has the ability to produce light nuclei by uncommenting them and directly feeding SMASH that .txt file. However when I uncomment all of them, it only produces deuterons; no light nuclei nor neutrons are created. I also saw in the source code that SMASH knows what those light nuclei are. Is there a way to get all of the light nuclei that’s available to SMASH? It would be very helpful for my analysis.
