Hidden windows are displayed in superswitcher #2

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open window that has hidden hints (eg: Gimmie uses these)
2. Add/look at GNOME Window List
3. Press Super key
4. Compare listed windows

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- Would it be better for 'hidden' windows not to appear?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- 0.3 on Ubuntu Edgy.

Please provide any additional information below.
- as Nigel suggested in our discussion on IRC, perhaps use
wnck_window_is_skip_list instead of wnck_window_is_skip_pager.

Ok, here's the very simple patch!

I'm not sure about this. I just checked gimmie out of CVS, and gimmie seems to
be
playing nicely with superswitcher. If by "windows that has hidden hints" you
mean
the pastel blue/green/pink/gray colored dock-thingy, then that isn't coming up
in
superswitcher, nor the window list (which uses wnck_window_is_skip_list), nor
the
window selector applet (which uses wnck_window_is_skip_pager). When I click on
gimmie's "Documents" button, then a window pops up, but it isn't hidden in
either the
regular GNOME applets or in superswitcher.

Everything seems consistent to me. I'm marking as invalid, but please re-open
if
you're still seeing something different than what I'm seeing.

I am on superswitcher SVN, Ubuntu Edgy, gimmie 0.1.1.
