the sad truth is that we probably need a full front-end rewrite using the bootstrap grid system compared to this javascripty responsiveness, but we'd also prefer to make bootstrap optional, so...
Responsiveness was getting weird between 568 and 768, so I consolidated to make it all the same anywhere under 768.
