NAS Appliance VM does not serve management console web page #49

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Successfully install the app into VMware or Virtualbox (tried both)
2.Browse to the IP address displayed
3.No management console page is served by the VM.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expecting to be able to log into system.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
NAS App VM from http://opendedup.org/download

Please provide any additional information below.

Having the same exact issue.  Just deploy the OVF setup static IP and can't get 
to management console.  Tried the first setup of DHCP as well.

A tip from the user discussion group said to add a 1 to the sdfnas hostname in 
/etc/hosts.

127.0.1.1       sdfsnas1

Needs to look like the above

it worked for me, perhaps there is a misconfiguration while deploying the ovf. 
there's a step to pick the vm network... be sure it is in a valid vlan

similar issue: http://code.google.com/p/opendedup/issues/detail?id=47
they had set it up on static ip, so they manually went into the vm and 
corrected the network config and solved the issue
