An event editor you can access from in-game using inventory GUIs. Possibly also with a custom resourepack?
Ideas for a gui (already somewhat with custom resourecpack). What are your thoughts on this?
Very possible.
We wouldn't be able to do something like the second image where everything is blocked out but it's certainly something we can do.

we could do it with a simple resource pack but else yeah
resource pack seems a little overkill imo
no point when it has no benefit to the end user
also just inconvenient for them
well, I like the concept of the gui being more custom
also if we're using a custom resourcepack we could also do more stuff
like custom ui overlays, also maybe more interesting actions etc
so I personally like the concept of using a custom resourcepack
i agree and disagree, cool? yes, necessary? no, ingame ui is imo also kinda backlog, so i suggest to wait until actual event yaml system gets done, and make this backlog with low priority, thoughts? ofcourse feel free to work on it in spare time when your burned out from working on something else
