Thanks and don't worry about testing. It's already broken, you won't make it any worse, only closer to correct. Nobody has complained about this. If someone cares about it, they'll make sure it works, and if not, well that's ok.
I notice the debian/control file still mentions gtk, but I've stopped using gtk and now use SDL2 instead.
So, this debian packaging stuff is out of date. But I don't know anything about it. If someone cares, perhaps they will fix it.
