Much of your time as a researcher will be spent in this 'data wrangling' stage. It's not the most fun, but it's necessary. We'll teach you how to think about data organization and some practices for more effective data wrangling. You know how to use Excel already, but do you know the best way to organize your data for command-line based statistics program like R or SAS? This workalong will teach you best practices for data organization in Excel so that you can do further analyses in R or SAS. There are no pre-requisites. Beginners are welcome.
