Release v3.0.0

I'm working on a new release that will bulk-fix a couple of outstanding issues, and merge in some open pull-requests. All work is done in the next branch

I'll use this PR to track progress. Process can also be tracked trough milestone v3.0.0.

The new documentation is still a WIP, but already live on https://smeijer.github.io/leaflet-geosearch/. If anyone has requests or suggestions. Please feel free to express them here so we can update the docs while working on this branch.

@Heni-ghodbane, I've updated the docs to cover the implementation of custom providers. Is the current info sufficient? If not, what do you need me to improve / explain better?

:tada: v3.0.0 has been released! A couple of bullet points are moved to the v3.1.0 release, which is tracked by #219.
