anatomy of drydock sketches (was: clean up templates) #47

I'm not sure if we're using all of the templates, and so it would be nice
if you removed the ones that we don't need anymore.

For example, are we even using threadhead?

At the very least we should probably have more documentation regarding what
templates get used where.

(PS don't delete popup.tpl I am using that for things)

threadhead isn't used anywhere anymore. There's lots of little remnants from
various
stages of planning from before there was the old collabo site that were only
half
completed. Like my original overhaul of the templates from wakawakawaka to
common to
split templates. I'll try to clean up the drydock-image template first and
then work
on the rest from there.

The templates need to be redesigned anyway.

I'm going to draw up template sketches outlining where particular template
files are
called from.

For example, thread.tpl calls several templates while it's building, such as
postblock and viewblock, but where does it call them from and in what way.

I'm basically thinking about throwing all the old crap out and redoing the
templates
from the ground up. Not sure if I want to target this for 032 or not though
because
I'd rather get a clean looking template set out the door when we shove all this
over
to trunk, but I don't know if I want to tie things up with something like this.

I'd make it as part of 0.3.2, to be honest, so you can tie that in with your
up.php
template work.

Tagging it as on hold then and reassigning.
