excel report not working #1734

When a scan is done, and I try to export the data, to csv, it works, but to excel, it just opens a new browser tab. Or do I need to export to excel via the cli?

I'm using spiderfoot 4.0.0 running on debian 11

For me to!! I using in UBUNTU 22.04.LTS and firefox. I tried in Brave but same things happends like above. Can i export data with command?

You can export to various formats, including CSV, which personally I find much more useful than the Excel export as all data is in one worksheet. You can open the CSV file with Excel. Using Data -> Filter to filter the columns effectively returns the same data you would see in Excel.
