Paste using clipboard not working #261

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Make a phrase and set it to paste using clipboard (ctrl + v)
2.Put something else in your clipboard
3.Try and use the phrase

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The phrase would be inserted.  Instead the contents of the clipboard was 
inserted.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Version 0.90.1
Using KDE Development Platform 4.10.5
Ubuntu 13.10 64bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Same issue here. I could sure use this as the default "Keyboard" method of 
replacement isn't working very well in the editor I'm using.
