Hey there folks... sorry if this is already answered somewhere i could not
find it.

Many friends of mine have bougth iphones and i unlocked for them... and i
tell them countless times that when a new iphone update arrives they must
not update! but they do it anyway so i get a really nice job as an iphone
viriginator and stuff...

is there a way? a hack, modifying hosts files or something like that to
prevent itunes from updating the iphone?

please help me! thanks!

what about this?

whats the apple update website url?

i think we can add a line in the hosts file...

is located in

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\

the file name is "hosts" without extensions...

we should add a line like this

127.0.0.1 appldnld.apple.com

can anyone confirm the url? for the firmware download? or for the update check?

Little Snitch works fine for OS X. I use it myself and it works like a charm.
