Enable overlay on images with EXIF causes SmugMug galleries to not load

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Enable overlay on images with EXIF
2.From Chrome, go to a SmugMug.com gallery with a page of images

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-The gallery should fully load, but instead about 75% of the time, the gallery 
stops loading, sometimes with a white screen only, sometimes with the theme 
loaded with no controls and no images/thumbs. 

Please provide any additional information below.
-If I disable overlay, the galleries load fine and the bug does not reproduce
-Here is a sample gallery that exhibits this behavior

I have since reproduced this bug w/out EXIF Viewer running. So this extension 
is not the cause. Thanks though.
