The README.md is updated in 180e47b7b90c06769ba61e25ce4fc9cdb70d0e9d, but I could still create some demos in one of the example_planet folders.

An example of using cartesian coordinates (xyz) as initial conditions has been added to example_planets/Kepler-18, and relevant documentation has been added to the readme. If there is something specific that is confusing / not working please open a new issue or reopen this one.
