Custom Moves

I made a custom server with custom moves. The client is not recognizing the moves in team builder, but it does show up under /dt. Some googling made me think I need to use a custom client, but where would I change that?

https://github.com/CustomPokemonShowdown is the collection of repos, if you can figure it out that would be nice (the custom move is called aa/"Aaah" if that helps)

if I modify an existing move it works in game but doesn't display, and breaks if I change the name

the power points do appear. but nothing else does. however, everything does pop up with /dt
