This is pretty minor. It should also no longer be an issue once we implement -permaformechange.

Well, in general, graphical glitches should be reported to Zarel/Pokemon-Showdown-Client. This repository is for the server.

Other than that, though, you didn't do anything wrong.

Okay, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. I didn't realize that that there was a repository especially for the client.
