Tremaine asked me again today if there are any stars in the catalog consistent with being co-moving with the Sun. This is just a reminder for either of us to visualize / look at stars that have proper motions consistent with zero.

I did briefly looked at this at the time without reaching any conclusion. I looked for stars that has zero xyz velocity using a subsample of TGAS that has RV.

But what is it that we’d look for exactly given that we don’t have RV for the majority?
