add modifier key to snap drag/size to grid layout (configurable, but maybe
5/10 pixels?)
add grid support to preview window in designer. How can we do this very
quickly using DirectX? Will point textures be fast enough to render a few
thousand per frame? Can still add grid lines rather than points which would
be faster (maybe - fewer calls but more pixels). Also need support for grid
align/snap/size support
