double click required to open context menu in chrome. #69

Mac os 10.14.6. The newest version of smooth gesture and extras installed, chrome Version 78.0.3904.87 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Please double-check that you are not on 10.15, then

Go to the extension Options > Extras and confirm that "Use Extras" is set to "ON", What does the status say on this page?

Same here. Mac Catalina v 10.5.1 Chrome v 78.0.3904.97

Go to the extension Options > Extras and confirm that "Use Extras" is set to "ON", What does the status say on this page?

Issue: It requires double right click to open the context menu.

Maybe it is from SmoothGesturesPlusExtras, which is version 0.5, from 2016? Or could it be from MacOS (I am on the first version: 10.15.0, not on latest, 10.15.1)?

I have started experiencing this recently as well. Re-installing smooth gestures and the extras package doesn't seem to help.

OS X: 10.14.6 Chrome: 79.0.3945.79 (Official Build) (64-bit) Extras: ON (You have the latest version)

Any ideas on how to fix things up would be appreciated.

Accidentally I have found a solution. For me adding Smooth Gestures Plus Extra to apps that can control my computer in the privacy tab in the security & privacy page of settings make it work again correctly.

Thanks for the tip @tgolembiewski !

I found that the Extras app was already in the list for me and enabled. I disabled/removed it and re-added it and things seem to be working again!

The same issue. It is working good on the Catalina 10.15.7, however, it is not working on the 10.15.8 on another one

Can't open SmoothGesturesPlusExtras.app macOS 12.3 beta

macOS 12.3 removed all of the Python 2 runtime from the OS as we're now 2+ years beyond the end-of-life for that version.

Unfortunately, the python that's packaged in SmoothGesturesPlusExtras.app is written for that major version, and no longer functions as a result.

The code needs to be updated to work on the OS default version of Python 3.8.
