Try enabling or disabling "hardware decoding" in preferences -> performance. You can also try to change the "threads for decoding".
Tried and nothing unfortunately.
Then i had an idea, I uninstalled the Flatpak version and installed SMPlayer from the .RPM version and now it works fine after setting performance --> Hardware decoding on AUTO.
The Only downside is the .RPM version doesn't have a Skinnable GUI so I can't put the Fusion skin on.
So basically the Flatpak version of this software seems to not apply changes on the hardware decoding
Describe the bug While playing an HEVC (x265) file the video is laggy. I tried to change multimedia engine between MPlayer and MPV and nothing. Then I tried to change the output driver and nothing (some outiput drivers are worse than others), still laggy. But when I play it with the MPV app is perfectly fine.
