Latest portable doesn't see yt-dlp.exe #996

Hello SMplayer doesn't see yt-dlp after update through Help menu. image

Installs ok, I can see yt-dlp.exe in 'mpv' directory but opening youtube url opens yt-dlp install again and again.

tried both

smplayer-portable-24.5.0.0-x64-qt5.6.7z smplayer-portable-24.5.0.0-x64.7z

always get this even if yt-dlp is installed изображение

I can't reproduce this problem in my computer. Check the permissions of the mpv folder, maybe it's read only.

Posting here because this is the only thread I've found re: a similar issue - I keep intermittently getting this issue on Linux. Garuda Linux; smplayer, yt-dlp installed through repo. I even let it install the program to the /home/$USER/bin folder and same thing. Weird thing is, after a while it will just start working again. No clue as to what's causing it. I'm assuming it's actually a yt-dlp issue as Haruna does similar things. Just thinking someone here might know how to fix it.
