Page may not display date, author and category #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new page
2. Read it...

By default, for internal management reasons, in WP pages belong to default
category, but they are not supposed to display the category.
Up to Carrington 1.3 pages display category/authro and publication date for
pages
