Leaving "branch" field empty, causes the waterfall page to stuck #53

This seems to be a bug in Buildbot or twistd, not in ootermite, but we have
to workaround this.

In fact it is a lack of robustness within Buildbot as empty branch fields are 
not
rejected. I will provide a patch soon.
