cannot change system sound and carrier image

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. select the wanted carrier image (can view the image)
2. click 'OK'
3. press 'HOME', nothing changes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected to change system sound and carrier image. no changes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
customized 1.08 on firmware 1.0.2
