No.  But you could sponsor this work if you are interested in it.  If you 
contact Percona through www.percona.com, I can give you a quote.  I think some 
other companies (tag1 consulting comes to mind) might also be able to help with 
this, too.  But I am not sure who else is really familiar with the code.

Here it is.
Since passenger-status requires root to access status.socket it depends on sudo 
and $ssh_user being able to execute passenger-status without password. This may 
change in the future.
