It would be great if we could get the mysql stats by SSH, enabling mysql 
networking only to get supervision working is not very nice...
Thanks for your great scripts by the way!

Well, you could bind mysqld to 127.0.0.1 and create an SSH tunnel to the 
server...

I don't think that this will ever happen.  It's too much work and very few 
people run with --skip-networking in my experience.
