Per-game GameCube settings messed up #51

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Point at a GameCube game, press B
2. Change neek2o settings (like NoDisc or display mode)
3. Press B to hide the menu
4. Press B to show again the settings menu for the same game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The settings should stay the same. Instead, settings change each time the game
settings menu is shown (more or less randomly, most of the time the "YES" is
shifted down one setting).

Quickly testing the same on Wii games shows the same phenomenon on some
settings but not all.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
PostLoader 4.4.4 or 4.4.7 (same bug), real NAND 4.2E or emulated NAND 4.3U
(same bug)

Just tested to confirm that i have the same erratic behaviour if settings are
stored on SD or USB.

Thank you for the fix of neek2o settings, it really helps.

A side effect appeared, though : categories seem to be buggy now (don't
remember in 4.4.7 since I don't really use this feature). It is not a real
problem for me, but I wanted to report it.

At least, games now work as they should.
