Problem Disc:

Wii Region: NTSC
cIOS Version: 249 r6 rr

Which SoftChip revision are you using?

Please describe the issue you're having

Every few boots, I press 'A' but the disc doesn't appear to be detected 
and so it appears as if nothing happens. Eject/re-insert fixes this, but 
the lack of feedback makes you wonder.

Please provide any additional information below.

One suggestion I have is to put some status up about Waiting on disc to 
become ready or some such thing, so folks don't think it's frozen. 
Figuring out the DI issue would also be great too, but one thing at a 
time, right? :-)

same, I 
believe having the tracking bug will be helpful.

issue 12 was verified as a duplicate due to faulty error checking, full 
exception
handling should tell us why the Ioctl is failing

I cant seem to replicate this issue, A button always initiates disc load here. 
Is
disc inserted at wii boot up, or at softchip text page?

ok, i may have replicated by removing a disc, the inserting another, pushed A 
button
twice as recognition seemed to stall

Tried here what stev said, it freezes for some seconds, 15 or more, but it 
boots.
