r75
Please describe the issue you're having
--------------------------------------------------
the game reboot the wii (same problem with far cry)

Please provide any additional information below.
--------------------------------------------------
I have seen in gbatemp forums that if you use menu loader clone and set ios
for game and ios for system menu to 249 the game is working well. I haven't
the game. Is it possible to add a function to softchip that force the game
to use ios that user can choose? (for example ios 249)
It can be benefic for ssxblur too and so that we doesn't need to patch isos
with ios patcher from waninkoko.
Thanks for your good job.
regards

There are 2 different reasons why Sam & Max doesn't work:
1. The game checks if the IOS which is specified in the TMD is loaded, or the
game
loads this IOS itself
2. The game somehow detects that it is not started by the disc channel. Or it
is just
missing something the disc channel loads, but SoftChip doesn't

We know about these games and the issues, if we find a solution it will be
implemented

Thanks for the answer!!
Perhaps with a rebooter from softchip it can work and i have seen it in the
wishlist:
"Runtime patching of the System Menu & Starlet to use the Disc Channel to load
discs".
I think you can take a look of the menu loader clone source code by raven from
here:
You do a really good job thanks for all and if my idea is not possible just
tell me. ;)
regards.

Fixed reboot in R96, but still requires IOS Version patching, see issue 86
