Have been watching the project for some time, and I'm wondering when there
will be a compiled, fairly recent version on code.google.com for download.

Please provide any additional information below.

Lots of us can test software, but don't care much for downloading devkits,
additional files, getting into what's needed for compiling, and then doing
it... But testing backups is something anyone who owns games can do...

Official DOL Releases will start after we quit pre-alpha, if you don't want to
compile yourself, you can get some *unofficial* releases at gbatemp.
