Some games need to be patched to use IOS249 in order to work #86

This is a list of the games affected:
Army Men: Soldiers of Misfortune
Boogie (not Boogie Superstar)
Call of Duty 3
FarCry
FIFA 08
House of the Dead 2
Madden '07
Madden '08
Medal of Honor Heroes 2
Metal Slug Anthology
Metroid Prime 1
Mortal Kombat Armageddon
NBA Live '08
Obscure: The Aftermath
Pangya Golf With Style
Red Steel
Sam & Max Season One
Splinter Cell Double Agent
SSX Blur
Super Swing Golf

Some games might be missing in this list, some might be by mistake in the list.

Theory why it's required to patch these games:
The games contain code to load the IOS specified in the tmd themselves,
which would explain why changing this values has an effect. Also these
games can be launched with IOS248 for example while patched to IOS249 and
they work.

Of course it would be better not to need to patch these games.

Sorry this page is only for SoftChip and not other loaders. SoftChip can't load
from
usb at the moment, so it's irrelevant what's required for usb loading. The
patching
for playing from disc can be easily done with Waninkoko's IOS Version patcher
1.1 and
does not work when loading from usb.
