HDD not detected on start up #504

I have set my Wii so that when the console is started up it boots directly to 
Wiiflow, when I do this it cannot detect and games and it asks me to choose a 
partition.
However when I start Wiiflow through the homebrew channel it works just fine.
What could be causing this?

I know you can do better and follow the guidelines which are filled out by 
default when filing a bug. Please fill in all entries, so we know what your 
system looks like.
