Hi @AliaksandrSiarohin When I downloaded the TED dataset , I found that two video was downloaded failed with "Can not load video xDKth-qS8Jk, broken link" and "Can not load video _QdPW8JrYzQ, broken link". I have tried other download methods and got the same result , and I met same question with voxceleb1 dataset, which has more broken videos. So I want to ask how can I solve this problem? Thanks!

You should update YouTube-dl.

I use the latest version: wget https://yt-dl.org/downloads/latest/youtube-dl -O youtube-dl However, I meet the same problem.

Can you download it using command line? Can you access these videos from browser?

Linda0530 commented 3 years ago

@AliaksandrSiarohin Thanks for your replay, and I can download most of broken videos successfully with this method, except some videos without permission.

@Linda0530 I don't get it do you still have a problem? Did you see #12?

Yes, I still have two videos of TED dataset that failed to download, including _QdPW8JrYzQ and xDKth-qS8Jk. The first one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QdPW8JrYzQ is private video , but I have no idea why the second one cannot be downloaded.
I wonder if you can send me TED and voxceleb1(more videos cannot play on web) complete processed dataset, thank you very much!

I am having the same problem. I also cannot download two videos, though one of the videos has a different name from what @Linda0530 mentioned. My problem maker is _QdPW8JrYzQ and LiUClSItcy0. Here's my log. image
