lynx not found #3

Hi and thanks for your work. I have installed the newsboat snap on KDE neon 5.12 and successfully imported an opml file. However when reading an article, pressing o to open the article in browser, article is not opened. Quitting newsboat reveals the error "sh: 1: lynx: not found". Lynx is installed via apt.

Have also tried using a config file as "newsboat --config-file=~/snap/newsboat/295/.newsboat/config". newsboat indicates config loads "Loading configuration...done." However error is the same. config file contains "browser lynx", browser "/usr/bin/lynx" does not work either.

How can I have newsboat use lynx or another browser open the article.

TIA

Hi! Snap restricts us in what we can call. You'll have to set your browser to xdg-open, and then configure that to open lynx. I don't have a worked example for this, sorry; if you implement this, please share! A bit more details available in https://github.com/newsboat/newsboat/issues/121
