Adding to midas database? #91

Would you be able to recommend an efficient way to add a few genomes to the existing MIDAS database that is available for download? I've followed the steps to create a new database for my additional genomes, but I'm wondering whether there's an easy way to combine these with the larger db. Thanks!

Sorry, there's no easy way to do that at the moment. But, that's something I can definitely try and incorporate in future releases/version of the software.

There is something wrong when I tried to build my own reference database, that is 'Error: could not locate directory specified by --genomes: THE PATH TO genomes.tar.gz'. How can I deal with it? Thank you. And I wonder if I must download all the files that recommended to contain.
