Hi,
I'm having a little issue with notification popups.
This post has been edited because I first assumed that notifications do not work at all; see below.
Steps to reproduce:
Default case:
-Set Update Scanner to monitor any webpage
-Wait until update scan interval has passed (set to 5min)
-UpdateScanner Icon in Firefox shows indicator that there has been an updated webpage
-A notification popup is shown only after an additional delay of approx. 5 minutes (roughly measured with stopwatch 3 times, +/- 10s).
-This happens regardless of what type of notifications daemon etc. is used (mate, xfce)
Manual case:
-Set Update Scanner to monitor any website
-Click "Scan all pages"
-A notification popup is instantly shown
Expected behaviour
-A notification popup is instantly shown also when not manually scanning webpages.
-Ubuntu 20.04 Mate Desktop -Firefox 77.0.1 (64-Bit) -UpdateScanner version: 4.4.0
